The Food Incubator partners with Tecnosoft

The Food Incubator, the thermal processing expert, is delighted to announce that it has secured the exclusive UK distribution rights for Tecnosoft’s high performance temperature data loggers, to enable its customers demonstrate compliance in relation to the need to provide clear evidence of regular temperature checks throughout any pasteurisation / sterilisation treatment.

Tecnosoft’s range of products are well-placed to provide a cost effective (representing considerably less than the Denmark-based market leader), yet highly reliable data logger solution which includes a free software suite if required. In addition to the clear price benefits, servicing of Tecnosoft’s data loggers is also competitively priced with a track record for speedy turnarounds. A dedicated UK servicing hub will be up and running in the New Year, which will further enhance the appeal of the brand’s portfolio of temperature data logger products.

To celebrate this working partnership and at the same time support clients in their endeavours to kick off the New Year with a strong commitment to establishing the highest standard of process validation, The Food Incubator is rolling out an attractive promotion to both new and existing customers which could represent a saving of up to £4,000*. The company is offering the following discounts on 4-pack and 10-pack devices:

20% discount on S-Micro (Small and compact)
15% discount on S-MicroW L (Extended temperature range)
10% discount on S-Micro L (Fully functional entry level range)

Customers taking advantage of the above promotion will be eligible for the same discount on their annual process validation check. A 15% discount on validation checks without any product purchase is also accessible.

To qualify for the various offers, all orders must be placed before 31st January 2022 with the works completed by end of April 2022.

The Food Incubator is also able to hire out temperature data loggers in sets of 10 (the rental cost is deductible from the price upon purchase) for a minimum hire of one week at a price of £1,250, with subsequent weeks at a reduced rate across all three products.

Launch of the Food Incubator: Hatching the path to food production success

Launching this month, The Food Incubator is a brand-new business designed to help food producer companies and start-ups navigate their way to market, by identifying appropriate and assured processes to evidence proven safety and shelf life (while still retaining taste, flavour, and visual appeal).

Headed up by food industry heavyweight, Tom Russell (whose professional career spans senior roles with Everfresh Natural Foods, Shipton Mill, Celtic Bakers and The Fabulous Bakin’ Boys), The Food Incubator offers a suite of services to help both established and fledgling food enterprises.

As experts in thermal processing (sterilisation and pasteurisation), The Food Incubator works with companies to explore processing options and identify those must suited to their product; operate small batch runs for start-ups; provide data analysis to validate commercial viability for multiple runs and create early samples for evaluation. In addition, The Food Incubator offers bespoke training courses to enable a deeper understanding of thermal processing and retort operation with operators, technical staff and new team members. The company can also deliver specialist assistance to established food producers looking to test products or investigate viability of increased capacity. Further support in terms of the provision of specialist promotional activities and new product development is available, the latter providing clients with the opportunity to secure early affirmation of a product’s propensity for manufacture to ensure a seamless rollout. The business is equipped with two state-of-the -art Lagarde Steam/Air retorts and also has a range of other pilot food processing equipment for clients to use.

The Food Incubator is based in a new state-of-the-art bespoke facility in Leicester, with plans to extend the business operations to include the delivery of packaging consultancy and implementation in the future.
